Ibn taymiyyah also said:
"indeed the knowledgeable person is the one that practices it"⁵⁰. As-sahili advises Abubakar to heed clarion calls and should not allow his pride to ruin his life, calm and persuading expression laid the tone of his admonition. He hinges this on the prophet saying: "The religion is sincerity. We said to whom: he replied to Allah and its book and to his messenger and to the leader of the Muslim and their common talk "⁵¹
The poet proffers solution that if Abubakar could turn to Allah before consequential abundant down him. Allah says "those who behave among on the earth in defiance of right, They will turn away from my signs, even if they see all the signs they will not belief in them. And if they see the way right conduct they will not adopt it as the way. But if they see the way of error that is the way they will adopt for they have rejected our signs and failed to take our warning from them (q7v:146)⁵².
As-sahili satified himself to reply Abubakar not to imitate his passion, rather enlighten him on important responsibility which is seeking knowledge at all the time.
He also advises and prescribes virtues like wisdom, abstaining from worldly values (Ascetism) and also importance of prayer which are useful to him in this life and the hereafter. This could be meaningful than spending time is self praise (fakr) and satire poem (Hija') Despite that the primary aim composing the poem is for reply, it has been noticed that, this book serves as operational tool for effective use and dissemination of knowledge and values.
