Or particular quantified (juzʾiyyah musawwarah): like our saying: "Some human is a writer," and "Some human is not a writer."
Tàbí ìdánimọ̀ àkànṣe oníwọ̀n (juzʾiyyah musawwarah): bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Àwọn kan nínú èèyàn ni òǹkọ̀wé," àti "Àwọn kan nínú èèyàn kì í ṣe òǹkọ̀wé."
Or it is not like that, and it is called unquantified (muhmalah): like our saying: "The human is a writer," and "The human is not a writer."
Tàbí kò rí bẹ́ẹ̀, a sì ń pè é ní aláìníwọ̀n (muhmalah): bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Èèyàn jẹ́ òǹkọ̀wé," àti "Èèyàn kì í ṣe òǹkọ̀wé."
And the conjunctive (conditional) is either implicative (luzūmiyyah): like our saying: "If the sun is rising, then daytime exists."
Ìdánimọ̀ àsopọ̀ jẹ́ àyàtọ̀: bóyá ìdánimọ̀ ìtẹ̀lé (luzūmiyyah): bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Bí oòrùn bá ń yọ, nígbà náà ọ̀sán wà."
Or coincidental (ittifāqiyyah): like our saying: "If the human is rational, then the donkey brays."
Tàbí ìdánimọ̀ ìbámu (ittifāqiyyah): bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Bí èèyàn bá ní òye, nígbà náà kẹ́tẹ́kẹ́tẹ́ ń ké."
And the disjunctive (conditional) is either true (ḥaqīqah): like our saying: "The number is either even or odd."
Ìdánimọ̀ ìyàtọ̀ jẹ́ àyàtọ̀: bóyá ìdánimọ̀ òtítọ́ (ḥaqīqah): bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Nọ́ńbà jẹ́ bóyá méjì méjì tàbí ọ̀kan ṣoṣo."
And it is either preventing both conjunction and emptiness together, as we mentioned.
Ó sì jẹ́ bóyá èyí tí ń dènà àkópọ̀ àti òfo pọ̀, gẹ́gẹ́ bí a ti mẹ́nu bà.
Or preventing conjunction only: like our saying: "This thing is either a tree or a stone."
Tàbí èyí tí ń dènà àkópọ̀ nìkan: bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Ohun yìí jẹ́ bóyá igi tàbí òkúta."
Or preventing emptiness only: like our saying: "Zayd is either in the sea, or he does not drown."
Tàbí èyí tí ń dènà òfo nìkan: bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "Zayd jẹ́ bóyá ó wà nínú òkun, tàbí kò rì."
And the disjunctive (propositions) may have multiple parts, like our saying: "(The number is either excess, or deficient, or equal)."
Àwọn ìdánimọ̀ ìyàtọ̀ sì lè ní àwọn apá púpọ̀, bí ọ̀rọ̀ wa: "(Nọ́ńbà jẹ́ bóyá àfikún, tàbí àìtó, tàbí ìdọ́gba)."
