إن بعض المرويات في التراث الإسلامي حافلة بعناصر ذات طابع أسطوري من خلال تفاصيل مبالغ فيها. و لا تصح نسبتها للدين و لا تمت بالقرآن الكريم بصلة و لا الأحاديث الصحيحة. و القرآن أعتبره كلام الله المعصوم من الأخطاء اللغوية و المغالطات و التناقضات المعنوية. و الأحاديث النبوية لها منهج صارم في صحتها و ضعفها.

The Age of Prophet Noah (Peace Be Upon Him): A Quranic and Rational Perspective
It has become widespread among people that Prophet Nuh (peace be upon him) lived for a thousand years or more, based on a specific understanding of the noble verse: "And We certainly sent Noah to his people, and he remained among them a thousand years minus fifty years" (Al-'Ankabut: 14). However, contemplation of the Quranic text, along with the assistance of science and historical data, leads to a different conclusion: that the age of Noah (peace be upon him) was within the limits of the natural human lifespan, i.e., at most between eighty and one hundred and twenty years as claimed by some sources. This does not diminish his status; rather, it increases its alignment with Almighty Allah's way in creation!.

الإعراب و علة البناء
اختلف العلماء في تحديد علة بناء الأسماء، فذهب جمهور البصريين (كـ سيبويه وابن مالك) إلى أن الأصل في الأسماء الإعراب، وأن البناء علته "شبه الحرف" بأوجه مختلفة (وضعي، معنوي، افتقاري، نيابي)، بينما رأى الكوفيون (كـالفراء) أن الإعراب أصل في الأسماء والأفعال، وكان هناك خلاف حول بعض الأسماء كـ "هيهات" بين البناء (مذهب الجمهور) والإعراب (مذهب المازني والمبرد).

فالذي تعارفنا عليه من الكتب النحوية هو أن يحدث خلاف بين النحاة حول مسألة أو أكثر من المسائل أو قضية من القضايا المعقدة النحوية، أو قد تختلف مدرسة نحوية مع غيرها من المدارس النحوية. و الدرس النحوي حافل بالخلافات التي تقع بين مدرستي الكوفة و البصرة، أو بين النحاة أنفسهم في نفس المدرسة، و الدراسات حول هذا الموضوع كثيرة قد قتلها العلماء بحثا.
