Granada then, "Badis ibn Habus appointed a Jewish joseph (Yussuph ibn nagrilla) as his vizier (wazir). This poem instigated the barbers to the extent that Yussuph and three to four thousand jews were massacred"⁹
He said:
O tell all the barbarians (Sanha'jah)
This is not the era of silence and dogmant of lion in the forest
While your master has been stumbed
The eyes of people near his reproach
For chosen his secretary among them (jews)
It is better, if a Muslim is chosen
"Abadeesa" are you not a wise person anyone?
Why not match your thinking with the spirit of certainity?!
Don't choose among them (Jews) as servant.
Leave them to the curse of the cusers.
Be vigilant with your eyes extremely
You see them as dogs proceed quickly towards slaughtering
him (Yussuf) as sacrifice.
Leave him for butcher, cause is a big ram
And don't consider killing them as betrayal.
But Rather, betrayal is leaving them messing around
Perhaps they have violated our pact with them,
So how are you taking the blame of violators¹⁰
The ruler badis expelled him out of Granada because of the violence that this poem caused.
Around 1321, he began to travel to Egypt, Syrial, Iraq, and Yemen. These journeys made him to impact across Asia and North African with his intellectual professional values extensively. Meanwhile, Al-sahili gained a bosom contact with West Africa through the ruler of Mali empire Mansa Musa
