Says the one hoping for the mercy of the Almighty—that is, Aḥmad, well-known as ad-Dardīr.
Ọ̀rọ̀ ẹni tí ń retí àánú Alágbára—ìyẹn ni Aḥmad, ẹni tí a mọ̀ sí ad-Dardīr.
All praise is due to Allah, the Most High, the One, the All-Knowing, the Unique, the Self-Sufficient, the Glorious.
Gbogbo ìyìn jẹ́ ti Alláhu, Ẹni Gíga Jù Lọ, Ẹni Ọ̀kan, Onímọ̀-òkè-òkun, Ẹni Àdáyàbà, Ọlọ́rọ̀, Ọlọ́lá.
And the best of prayers and peace be upon the Prophet, the Chosen, the Noble.
Àti pé àdúrà àti àlàáfíà tí ó dára jù lọ máa wà lára Ànábì, Ẹni Tí A Yàn, Ọlọ́lá.
And upon his family and his pure companions—especially his companion in the cave.
Àti lara ẹbí rẹ̀ àti àwọn ọrẹ́ rẹ̀ mímọ́—ní pàtàkì ẹlẹgbẹ́ rẹ̀ nínú ihò.
And this is a Sunnī creed—I have named it "The Radiant Jewel."
Èyí sì ni ìgbàgbọ́ ìsìn Àhlu-s-Sunnah—mo ti pè é ní "Ọ̀ṣọ́ tí Ń Mọ́lẹ̀."
Delicate and small in size, but it is great in knowledge.
Rẹ́rẹ́-ún, ó sì kéré ní ìwọ̀n, ṣùgbọ́n ó tóbi nínú ìmọ̀.
It suffices you in knowledge if you desire to be content, for it fulfills with the cream of the discipline.
Ó tó o nínú ìmọ̀ bí o bá fẹ́ ní ìtẹ́lọ́rùn, nítorí pé ó pín pẹ̀lú àkójọpọ̀ yòówù tí ó dára jù nínú ẹ̀kọ́.
And I hope in Allah for acceptance of the deed and benefit from it, then forgiveness of slips.
Mo sì ń retí Alláhu fún gbígba iṣẹ́ náà, àti àǹfààní láti ọ̀dọ̀ rẹ̀, lẹ́yìn náà, fún ìdáríjì àṣìṣe.
