We begin this discourse first with the mention of praise to our Lord Most High.
A kọ́kọ́ bẹ̀rẹ̀ ọ̀rọ̀ yìí pẹ̀lú kíkà ìyìn Olúwa wa Gíga Jù Lọ.
So all praise is due to Allah for what He has bestowed—a praise that removes blindness from the heart.
Nítorí náà, gbogbo ìyìn jẹ́ ti Alláhu fún ohun tí Ó ti fi ṣe oore—ìyìn tí ó ń mú fifọ́jú kúrò nínú ọkàn.
Then after that, prayers and peace upon a Prophet whose religion is Islam.
Lẹ́yìn náà, àdúrà àti àlàáfíà máa wà lára Ànábì tí ẹ̀sìn rẹ̀ jẹ́ Islamu.
Muḥammad, the Seal of the Messengers of his Lord, and upon his family after him and his companions.
Muḥammad, adegbẹ́yìn Àwọn Ojiṣẹ Olúwa rẹ̀, àti lara ẹbí rẹ̀ lẹ́yìn rẹ̀ àti àwọn ọrẹ́ rẹ̀.
And we ask Allah for assistance in what we have intended of clarification.
A sì ń béèrè lọ́wọ́ Ọ́lọhun fún ìrànlọ́wọ́ nínú ohun tí a ti pinnu láti ṣàlàyé.
Concerning the school of Imām Zayd al-Faraḍī, for that is among the most important objectives.
Nípa ẹ̀kọ́ Olukọ agba olumọ nipa ogun pinpin, nítorí pé ìyẹn jẹ́ ọ̀kan lára àwọn ohun tí ó ṣe pàtàkì jù lọ.
Knowing that knowledge is the best thing one can strive for, and the most worthy to which the servant is called.
Mímọ̀ pé ìmọ̀ ni ohun tí ó dára jù tí a lè fọkàn sí, àti èyí tí ó yẹ jù fún ẹrú láti máa jẹ ipe rẹ sí.
And that this knowledge is distinguished by what has become well-known among all scholars concerning it.
Àti pé ìmọ̀ yìí yàtọ̀ nípa ohun tí ó ti gbajúmọ̀ nínú rẹ̀ lọ́dọ̀ gbogbo àwọn ọ̀mọ̀wé.
That it is the first knowledge to be lost from the earth, until it is scarcely to be found.
Pé òun ni ìmọ̀ àkọ́kọ́ tí yóò pòórá láti ilẹ̀ ayé, títí kì yóò fi dí àìsí
And that Zayd was indeed distinguished by what the Seal of the Message (the Prophet) bestowed upon him.
Àti pé Seidu a yà sọ́tọ̀ láìsí àní-àní nípa ohun tí olugbẹ̀yìn Ìṣẹ́-Ránṣẹ́ (Ànábì) fi ṣe oore fún un.
