From his (the Prophet's) saying in his virtue, alerting (us): "The most knowledgeable of you in inheritance is Zayd"—and that is sufficient for you.
Láti inú ọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀ (Ànábì) nípa ire rẹ̀, tí ó ń kìlọ̀ pé: "Ẹni tí ó mọ̀ jù nínú yín nípa ìjogún ni Zayd"—ìyẹn sì ti tó o.
So he was more worthy of following the Successor, especially since ash-Shāfiʿī followed his (Zayd's) path.
Nítorí náà, ó yẹ jù láti tọ̀ ọ́n ẹni tí ó tẹ̀lẹ́ (ọ̀mọ̀wé) lẹ́yìn, ní pàtàkì pé ash-Shāfiʿī ti tọ̀ ọ́n rẹ̀.
