أَعْنِي ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ عَظِيمَ الْقَدْرِ غَوْثَ اللَّهِيفِ تَرْجُمَانَ الذِّكْرِ


English

I mean Ibn ʿAbbās, the great in stature, the succor of the distressed, the interpreter of the Remembrance (the Qurʾān).

Yoruba

Mo túmọ̀ sí Ibn ʿAbbās, ẹni tí ipò rẹ̀ tóbi, òrànlọ́wọ́ aláìní, atúmọ̀ Ìrántí (Kùránì).

بِالشَّيْخِ عَبْدِ الْقَادِرِ الْجَيْلَانِي وَمُصْطَفَى الْبَكْرِيِّ ذِي الْإِيقَانِ


English

By Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, and Muṣṭafā al-Bakrī, the possessor of certainty.

Nípa Shaykh ʿAbd al-Qādir al-Jīlānī, àti Muṣṭafā al-Bakrī, ẹni tí ó ní ìdánilójú.

بِكُلِّ قُطْبٍ مِنْ حِمَاكَ دَانِ فَقَدْ تَوَسَّلْنَا بِهِمْ يَا دَانِي


English

By every pole (spiritual master) who is near to Your protection—for we have sought intercession through them, O near One!

Yoruba

Nípa gbogbo Qutb (ọ̀gá ẹ̀mí) tí ó sún mọ́ ààbò rẹ—nítorí a ti gbèrè Àbẹ̀bẹ̀ nípa wọn, Ẹ Olùsúnmọ́!

بِكُلِّ مَحْبُوبٍ وَعَبْدٍ سَالِكِ وَمُقْتَفٍ لِأَنْهَجِ الْمَسَالِكِ


English

By every beloved one and every wayfaring servant, and every follower of the paths.

Yoruba

Nípa gbogbo ẹni fẹ́ràn àti ẹrú arìnrìn-àjò, àti ẹni tí ń tọ̀ àwọn ọ̀nà lẹ́yìn.

هَبْ لِي وَأَتْبَاعِي وَكُلِّ طَالِبْ نَيْلَ الْمُنَى وَيَسِّرِ الْمَطَالِبْ


English

Grant me, my followers, and every seeker the attainment of desires, and make aspirations easy.

Yoruba

Fún mi, àwọn ọmọlẹ́yìn mi, àti gbogbo olówárí ní gbígba àwọn ifẹ́, kí o sì mú àwọn ohun tí a ń fẹ́ rọrùn.

وَأَسْبِلِ السِّتْرَ عَلَى الْجَمِيعِ وَحُفَّنَا بِحِصْنِكَ الْمَنِيعِ


English

And cast Your covering over all, and surround us with Your impregnable fortress.

Yoruba

Kí o sì bo gbogbo wa pẹ̀lú ìbòrí rẹ, kí o sì yí wa ká pẹ̀lú odi rẹ tí kò ṣeé fọ́.

وَأَشْفِنَا مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ فِينَا وَعَافِنَا يَا رَبَّنَا وَاحْمِينَا


English

And heal us from every disease within us, and grant us well-being, O our Lord, and protect us.

Yoruba

Kí o sì wò àwọn àrùn wa nínú wa ní sàn, kí o sì fún wa ní àlàáfíà, Ẹ Olúwa wa, kí o sì dáàbò bò wá.

وَيَسِّرِ الْكَسْبَ مِنَ الْحَلَالِ وَنَجِّنَا مِنْ ذِلَّةِ السُّؤَالِ


English

And make easy the earning from what is lawful, and save us from the humiliation of begging.

Yoruba

Kí o sì mú kíkó èrè láti inú ohun tí ó yàn fún wa rọrùn, kí o sì gbà wá kúrò nínú ìtìjú tí ń bẹ̀bẹ̀.

19

وَطَهِّرِ الْقَلْبَ مِنَ الْأَغْيَارِ وَصَفِّهِ مِنْ دَرَنِ الْأَكْدَارِ


English

And purify the heart from jealousies, and cleanse it from the filth of worries.

Yoruba

Kí o sì sọ ọkàn di mímọ́ kúrò nínú owú, kí o sì wẹ̀ ẹ́ kúrò nínú ẹ̀gbin àwọn àníyàn.

20

وَاحْفَظْ لَنَا السِّرَّ مَعَ الْجَنَانِ مِنْ فِتَنِ الْأَهْوَاءِ وَالشَّيْطَانِ


English

And preserve for us the secret along with the heart from the trials of passions and Satan.

Yoruba

Kí o sì pa àṣírí mọ́ fún wa pẹ̀lú ọkàn kúrò nínú ìdánwò àwọn ìfẹ́-ọkàn àti Èṣù.
