And deliver the soul from (base) motives, and make it traverse the path of the best Caller.

Kí o sì gba ẹ̀mí kúrò nínú àwọn ìdíwọ́, kí o sì jẹ́ kí ó tọ̀ ọ́n Ẹni tí ó dára jù lọ tí ń pè.

And from You, honor us with eternal knowledge and righteous action until the end of the term.

Àti láti ọ̀dọ̀ Rẹ, kí o bù kún wa pẹ̀lú ìmọ̀ àìlópin àti iṣẹ́ rere títí dé òpin àkókò.

And make sincerity easy in deeds, and in all statements and actions.

Kí o sì mú ìdúróṣinṣin rọrùn nínú àwọn iṣẹ́, àti nínú gbogbo àwọn ọ̀rọ̀ àti ìṣe.

And grant us success in following the Chosen One, and provide us from the intoxication of love for him.

Kí o sì fún wa ní àṣeyọrí nínú títẹ̀lé Ẹni Tí A Yàn, kí o sì bù kún wa láti inú ọtí ìfẹ́ rẹ̀.

And adorn the outward and the inward with every knowledge—both manifest and hidden.

Kí o sì ṣe ohun tí ó hàn àti tí ó fara sin lọ́ṣọ̀ọ́ pẹ̀lú gbogbo ìmọ̀—èyí tí ó hàn àti èyí tí ó fara sin.

And crush with Your might everyone who has harmed us, and everyone who has intended evil against us.

Kí o sì pa gbogbo ẹni tí ó ti ṣe wá lára run pẹ̀lú agbára Rẹ, àti gbogbo ẹni tí ó ti pinnu ibi sí wa.

And restrain the hand of the wrongdoers from us, and do not entrust us to other than You, my Lord.

Kí o sì dá ọwọ́ àwọn aláìṣòdodo dúró kúrò lọ́dọ̀ wa, má sì fi wá lé ẹlòmíràn lọ́wọ́, Olúwa mi.

And save us from the plot of every envier, and every gloater, oppressor, and obstinate one.

Kí o sì gbà wá kúrò nínù ìdìtẹ̀ gbogbo ẹni tí ń ṣe ẹ̀rán, àti gbogbo alápọ̀nsé, oníwà-ipá, àti aláìgbọ́ràn.

And grant us relief from every distress, and a way out from every worry and affliction.

Kí o sì ṣe ìtùnú fún wa kúrò nínú gbogbo àìrọrùn, àti ọ̀nà àbáyọ kúrò nínú gbogbo àníyàn àti àdánwò.

And burn with the fire of wrath and loss every enemy, slanderer, and criminal.

Kí o sì fi iná ìbínú àti pàdánù sun gbogbo ọ̀tá, olùpàdánù, àti ọ̀daràn.
