الْمَقَامَةُ الْمَرَاغِيَّةُ

And the dwelling is like paradise in its goodness

Àti ibùgbé náà dàbí ọ̀run àlùjànnà ní ìdára rẹ̀

A place of recreation and value

Ibi ìsinmi àti iye

Praise! for the life I had there

Órire, fún ìgbé ayé tí mo ní níbẹ̀

And the abundant pleasures

Àti àwọn adùn tí ó pọ̀

Days when I dragged my cloak

Àwọn ọjọ́ tí mo fà aṣọ mi

In its garden, determined in my resolve

Nínú ọgbà rẹ̀, pẹ̀lú ìpinnu

I strut in the coolness of youth

Mo ń ṣe àfojúsùn nínú ìtutù ìgbà èwe

And behold the beautiful blessings

Mo sì ń wo àwọn ìbùkún dáradára

I fear not the vicissitudes of time

Èmi kò bẹ̀rù àwọn ìyípadà àkókò

Nor its blameworthy events

Tàbí àwọn ìṣẹ̀lẹ̀ rẹ̀ tí a lè bá wí
