الْمَقَامَةُ الْمَرَاغِيَّةُ

Like the Kharijites entrusted Abu Nu'amah

Gẹ́gẹ́ bí àwọn Kharijite ṣe fún Abu Nu'amah ní àṣẹ

Ó yíjú sí ọkùnrin àgbàlagbà náà, ó sì sọ pé

Mọ̀ pé mo jẹ́ olóòótọ́ sí àlakóso yìí

And I improve my condition with the current statement

Mo sì ń mú ipò mi dára sí i pẹ̀lú ọ̀rọ̀ ìgbà yìí

I used to seek help in straightening my crookedness

Mo máa ń wá ìrànlọ́wọ́ láti tún àwọn àṣìṣe mi ṣe

In my country

Ní ìlú mi

With the abundance of my wealth

Pẹ̀lú ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ ọrọ̀ mi

Despite my small number

Bí mo tilẹ̀ kéré ní iye

But when my shoe became heavy

Ṣùgbọ́n nígbà tí bàtà mi wúwo

And my drizzle was exhausted

Tí ìrì mi sì tán
