الْمَقَامَةُ الدِّينَارِيَّةُ

وانتِياب النوبِ السود.ِ

And the recurrence of black misfortunes.

حتى صفِرتِ الراحةُ.

Until the palm became empty,

وأقْوى اْلمجمع.

وأقَض المضجع.

And the bed became uncomfortable,

واستحالَتِ الحالُ.

And the situation changed,

وأعولَ العِيالُ.

And the dependents wailed,

وخلَتِ المَرابِطُ.
