فَقَالَ: لَقَدْ بَلَوْتُ مِنَ الْعَجَائِبِ مَا لَمْ يَرَهُ الرَّاؤُونَ.
He said: I have experienced wonders that no observers have seen.
Ó sì wí pé: Mo ti rí àwọn ìyanu tí kò sí ẹni tí ó ti rí rí.
وَلَا رَوَاهُ الرَّاوُونَ.
Nor have narrators narrated.
Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kò sí akọ̀ròyìn tí ó ti sọ ọ́ rí.
وَإِنَّ مِنْ أَعْجَبِهَا مَا عَايَنْتُهُ اللَّيْلَةَ قُبَيْلَ انْتِيَابِكُمْ.
And among the most wondrous of them is what I witnessed tonight just before visiting you.
Nínú àwọn ohun ìyanu jùlọ ni ohun tí mo rí lálẹ́ òní kí n tó dé ọ̀dọ̀ yín.
وَمَصِيرِي إِلَى بَابِكُمْ.
And my arrival at your door.
Àti bí mo ṣe dé ẹnu-ọ̀nà yín.
فَاسْتَخْبَرْنَاهُ عَنْ طُرْفَةِ مَرْآهُ.
So we inquired about the novelty of what he saw.
A sì bi í léèrè nípa ohun tuntun tí ó rí.
فِي مَسْرَحِ مَسْرَاهُ.
In the theater of his night journey.
Ní ibi tí ó ti rìn ní alẹ́.
فَقَالَ: إِنَّ مَرَامِي الْغُرْبَةِ.
He said: Indeed, the aims of estrangement.
Ó sì wí pé: Nítòótọ́, àwọn èrò àjòjì.
لَفَظَتْنِي إِلَى هَذِهِ التُّرْبَةِ.
Cast me onto this soil.
Ti sọ mí sí ilẹ̀ yìí.
وَأَنَا ذُو مَجَاعَةٍ وَبُؤْسَى.
And I was in a state of hunger and misery.
Mo sì wà ní ipò ebi àti òsì.
وَجِرَابٍ كَفُؤَادِ أُمِّ مُوسَى.
And a bag as empty as the heart of Moses' mother.
Pẹ̀lú àpò tí ó ṣófo bí ọkàn ìyá Musa.
