الْمَقَامَةُ الرَّحْبِيَّةُ

You have gained from it understanding and resolve.

O ti rí ìmòye àti ìdánùṣọ́ lára rẹ̀.

The wise and astute seek these.

Ẹni tó ní làákàyè àti ọlọ́gbọ́n máa ń wá àwọn wọ̀nyí.

So, resist desires thereafter.

Nígbà yìí, gbìyànjú láti dá èrò kúrò.

And know that hunting gazelles is not easy.

Máa mọ̀ pé di dẹdẹ ẹtu kò rọrùn.

Not every bird falls into the trap.

Kì í ṣe gbogbo ẹyẹ ló ń wọ pakute

Even if it is surrounded by silver.

Kódà tí wọ́n bá fi fàdákà yìí ka

And how many sought to hunt but were themselves caught.

Mélòó Mélòó èèyàn ló gbìyànjú láti dẹdẹ ló bá kosi pakute ẹlòmíràn

And met not but pair shoes of Hunayn.

Àti ẹni tí kò pàdé nkankan yà tọ sí ẹsẹ méjì bàtà Hunain

Be wise and do not follow every flash of lightning.

Máa ṣọra, má ṣe tẹ lé gbogbo etimọ

For some lightning contains deadly strikes.

Nítorí ọpọ etimọ mìíràn ni aráìkú ń bẹ nínú rẹ
