الْمَقَامَةُ الرَّحْبِيَّةُ

English: And the waists with slenderness

Yoruba: Àti àwọn ìbàdí pẹ̀lú títẹẹrẹ.

English: Indeed, I did not kill your son, neither by mistake nor intentionally.

Yoruba: Lóòótọ́, èmi kò pa ọmọ rẹ, bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kì í ṣe àṣìṣe tàbí ọ̀nà àmọ̀ṣe.

English: Nor did I make his head a sheath for my sword.

Yoruba: Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni èmi kò fi orí rẹ̀ ṣe àkọ fún idà mi.

English: Otherwise, may Allah afflict my eyelids with inflammation.

Yoruba: Bí bẹ́ẹ̀ kọ́, kí Ọlọ́hun fi àìsàn kọlu ìpéǹpẹ́jú mi.

English: And my cheeks with freckles.

Yoruba: Àti ẹ̀rẹ̀kẹ́ mi pẹ̀lú làpálàpá .

English: And my forelock with baldness.

Yoruba: Àti iwájú orí mi pẹ̀lú pipá.

English: And my palm shoots with unripe dates.

Yoruba: Àti ẹ̀ka ọpẹ mi pẹ̀lú ẹ̀yin àìpọ́n.

English: And my rose with ox-eye daisy.

Yoruba: Àti òdòdó mi pẹ̀lú ewé ògùnṣọnṣọ.

English: And my musk with vapor.

Yoruba: Àti òórùn dídùn mi pẹ̀lú erùkù.

English: And my full moon with a crescent.

Yoruba: Àti òṣùpá kíkún mi pẹ̀lú ileteṣu.
