الْمَقَامَةُ الرَّازِيَّةُ

And he was delivering a sermon that healed the hearts.

Ó sì ń sọ ìkìlọ̀ tí ó ń mú ọkàn dá.

And softened the rocks.

Ó sì ń mú àwọn àpáta rọ̀.

So I heard him say.

Nítorí náà, mo gbọ́ ó ń sọ.

And minds were captivated by him.

Àwọn ọkàn sì ti ní ìfẹ́ sí i.

O son of Adam, what has deceived you about what deceives you.

Ọmọ Adam, kí ni ó ti tan ọ nípa ohun tí ó tan ọ.

And harmed you with what harms you!

Àti ṣe ọ ní ipalara pẹ̀lú ohun tí ó ṣe ọ ní ipalara!

And made you obsessed with what overpowers you.

Àti mú ọ ní ìfẹ́ sí ohun tí ó ń gbé ọ lórí.

And delighted you with those who flatter you!

Àti mú ọ yọ pẹ̀lú àwọn tí ó ń yìn ọ!

You are concerned with what concerns you.

O ń ṣe àníyàn nípa ohun tí ó ṣe é ọ ní àníyàn.

And neglect what concerns you.

Àti fi ohun tí ó pataki siọ sílẹ̀.
