الْمَقَامَةُ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيَّةُ

There is no end to its wailing.

Kò sí ìparí sí ariwo rẹ̀.

Nor anyone to show mercy for his suffering.

Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kosi aláàánú fún ìrora rẹ̀.

Nor protection from what befalls it.

Bẹ́ẹ̀ ni kò sí ààbò kankan fún ohun tí ó ṣẹlẹ̀ sí i.

May Allah inspire you with the best inspiration.

Kí Ọlọ́run fún yín ní ìmísí tó dára jùlọ.

And clothe you with the garment of honor.

Kí Ó sì wọ̀ yín ní aṣọ ọlá.

And settle you in the abode of peace!

Àti gbé yín sí ilé àlàáfíà!

And I ask Him for mercy for you and the people of Islam.

Àti bẹ̀ ẹ̀ fún àánú fún yín àti àwọn ènìyàn Islam.

For He is the most generous of the generous.

Nítorí pé Ó jẹ́ ẹni tí ó jọ̀wọ́ jùlọ nínú àwọn aláàánú.

And the Giver of peace and safety.

Àti Ẹni tí ó fún ní àlàáfíà àti ààbò.
