الْمَقَامَةُ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيَّةُ

He comprehended every secret with His knowledge and encompassed every land with His patience.

Ó mọ gbogbo àṣírí pẹ̀lú ìmọ̀ rẹ̀, ó sì gbé gbogbo ilẹ̀ pẹ̀lú sùúrù rẹ̀.

His reach extended to every world, and His power subdued every tyrant.

Ìwọ̀n rẹ̀ dé gbogbo àgbáyé, agbára rẹ sì borí gbogbo aláìgbọràn.

I praise Him with the praise of a monotheist Muslim, and I call upon Him with the supplication of a hopeful believer.

Mo ń yìn ín pẹ̀lú ìyìn ti ẹni tí ó gbàgbọ́ nínú Ọlọ́run kan, mo sì ń pè é pẹ̀lú àdúrà ti ẹni tí ó ní ireti.

He is Allah, there is no deity but Him, the One, the Unique, the Just, the Eternal.

Ó jẹ́ Ọlọ́run, kò sí ẹ̀lomíràn àyàfi Óun, Ẹni kan, Ẹni tí kò ní ìdílé, Olódodo, Ọ̀ba títí láé.

He has no child nor parent, no partner nor helper.

Kò ní ọmọ tàbí òbí, kò sì ní alábàápín tàbí olùrànlọ́wọ́.

He sent Muhammad to pave the way for Islam and to strengthen the community.

Ó rán Muhammad láti ṣe ìlànà fún Islam àti láti mú àwùjọ náà lagbara.

To confirm the proofs of the messengers and to guide both the black and the red.

Láti jẹ́rìí àwọn ẹ̀rí àwọn wòlíì àti láti tọ́ àwọn dudu àti pupa.

He maintained kinship ties, taught the rulings, and marked the lawful and the unlawful.

Ó bójú tó àwọn ìbátan, ó kọ́ àwọn òfin, ó sì ṣe àfihàn àwọn ohun tó jẹ́ ẹtọ àti àwọn ohun tó jẹ́ èèwọ̀.

He prescribed the doffing and donning of the sacred pilgrim robe, may Allah honor his place and complete the prayers and peace upon him.

Ó fi àṣẹ sí bíbọ àti wíwọ àṣọ Áràmí, kí Ọlọ́run bù kún àyè rẹ̀, kí ó sì parí àdúrà àti àlàáfíà fún un.

And may He have mercy on his noble family and his compassionate people.

Kí ó sì ṣàánú àwọn ẹbí rẹ̀ tó ní ọlá àti àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ tí wọ́n jẹ aláàánú.
