الْمَقَامَةُ السَّمَرْقَنْدِيَّةُ

Ṣe iṣẹ́, kí Ọlọ́run ṣàánú yín, pẹ̀lú iṣẹ́ àwọn olóòótọ́.

Strive for your hereafter as the healthy strive.

Kí ẹ sìsapá fún àkókò tí ń bọ̀ bí àwọn tó ní àlàáfíà ṣe ń sapá.

Restrain your desires as you would restrain your enemies.

Ṣe ìdènà fún àwọn ìfẹ́kúfẹ̀ẹ́ yín bí ẹ ṣe ń dènà àwọn ọ̀tá yín.

Prepare for the journey as the fortunate prepare.

Ṣètò fún ìrìnàjò bí àwọn tó ní àyọ̀ ṣe ń ṣètò.

Wear the armor of piety.

Ẹ Wọ aṣọ ìwà pẹ̀lẹ́.

Treat the ailments of greed.

Ẹ Ṣe ìtọ́jú àwọn àìsàn ojú kòkòrò.

Straighten the crookedness of your deeds.

Ṣe ìtọ́jú àwọn ìṣe tí kò tọ́.

Oppose the whispers of false hopes.

Ṣe ìjàkàdì sí àwọn ìròyìn èrò àìnílọ́lá.

Picture to your imagination about the changes of circumstances.
