الْمَقَامَةُ الدِّمَشْقِيَّةُ

Nígbà tí ipadà wọn wá tí yá

Tí àṣírí ọrọ wọn ti farahàn sí.

Ó sọ fún wọn pé: "Èyin ènìyàn, ẹ jẹ́ kí ìbànújẹ́ yín dákẹ́, kí ọ̀nà yín sì jẹ́ àlàáfíà."

I will protect you with what pleases your hearts and ensures your compliance.

Máa ṣe ìtọ́jú yín pẹ̀lú ohun tó máa yọ ọkàn yín àti ohun tó máa dá yín loju.

The narrator said: So we inquired from him about the protection he offered.

Alágbékalẹ̀ sọ pé: Nítorí náà, a bèèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ nípa àbò tó ń ròyìn rẹ
