الْمَقَامَةُ السنجارية

And its governor, the one with power.

Ati alákòóso rẹ̀, ẹni tí ó ní agbára.

To approach the door of his Ruler.

Láti lọ sí ẹnu-ọ̀nà Baálẹ rẹ̀.

Renewing the display of his horses.

Nígbàtí ó tún fi ẹṣin rẹ̀ hàn.

And seeking the clouds of his success.

Ati wíwá àwọ̀n pupọ àṣeyọrí rẹ̀.

And he sought to accompany him with a gift that suited his desire.

Ó wá láti bá a lọ pẹ̀lú ẹ̀bùn tí ó bá ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ mu.

To present it before his whispers.

Láti fi hàn níwájú ìsọ̀rọ̀ rẹ̀.

And he began to offer rewards to his visitors.

Ó bẹ̀rẹ̀ sí í fún àwọn àlejò rẹ̀ ní èrè.

And he elevated the desires of those who fulfilled his wishes.

Ó gbé àwọn ìfẹ́ àwọn tí ó mú ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ ṣẹ́ ga.

So that deceitful neighbor regretted his generosity.

Nítorí náà, aládùúgbò tí ó jẹ́ ẹlẹ̀tan náà bínú sí ìwà ìfẹ́ rẹ̀.

And he disobeyed the blame of his blamer in achieving disgrace.

Ati ó kọ́ ìbáwí òní ìbáwí rẹ̀ nígbàtí ó ń ṣe ìtìjú.
