الْمَقَامَةُ الْوَاسِطِيَّةُ

His generosity spread and completed, and his clouds poured and dripped.

Ìfẹ́ rẹ̀ tàn káàkiri o sì tún pé, àwọn àwọsánmọ̀ rẹ̀ rọ̀ òjò o sì pọ.

He complied with the request and hope, and helped the poor and the widow.

Ó tẹ̀lé ìbéèrè àti ìrètí, Ó ṣe iranlọwọ fún àwọn talakà àti opó.

I praise Him with extended praise, and I unify Him as the devout unified Him.

Mo yìn pẹ̀lú ìyìn tí ó gùn, àti pé mo gbà pé Ọlọ́run kan ni bí àwọn olóòótọ́ ṣe sọ pé Ọlọ́run kan ni.

He is Allah, there is no god for the nations but Him, and no breaker of what He has made straight and equal.

Ó jẹ́ Ọlọ́run, kò sí ọlọrun míràn fún àwọn orílẹ̀-èdè ayé ayàfi Rẹ̀, àti pé kò sí ẹni tí ó lè tako ohun tí Ó ti ṣe ni déédé tí Ó sì jẹ kó dọ́gba.

He sent Muhammad as a flag for Islam and a leader for the rulers.

Ó rán Muhammad gẹ́gẹ́ bí àpẹẹrẹ fún Islam àti olórí fún àwọn ọba.

And a guide for the common people, and a nullifier of the judgments of Wadd and Suwa.

Àti olùkó fún àwọn ènìyàn, àti ẹni tí ó fọ àwọn ìdájọ́ Waddu àti Suwa.

He knew and taught, judged and perfected.

Ó mọ̀ ìmọ Ó sì kọ́ ayé ní mímọ, Ó dájọ́ Ó sì ṣe déédé.

He established the foundations and prepared, confirmed the promises and warned.

Ó pilẹ àwọn ìpìlẹ̀ Ó sì pèsè rẹ, Ó fi àwọn ìlérí múlẹ̀ Ó sì tún kéde ìkìlọ̀.

Allah continued to honor him and placed his soul in the abode of peace (Dar el-Salam).

Ọlọ́run tẹ̀síwájú láti ṣe apọnle fún un, Ó sì fi ẹ̀mí rẹ̀ sínú ilé àlàáfíà (Dàrú Salami)

And He had mercy on his noble family and kin, as long as stars shine and rain falls.

Ó sì ṣàánú fún ẹbí rẹ̀ àti àwọn ará rẹ̀ olóòótọ́, bí àwọn ìràwọ̀ ṣe ń tàn àti bí òjò ṣe ń rọ̀.
