الْمَقَامَةُ السنجارية

Ó ní: Nípa Ẹni tí ó jí àwọn òkú dìde láti inú ibojì.

I will not return without lifting the goblet,

Èmi kì yóò padà láìsí gbígbé ìfé (oni gíláàsì) kúrò,

So we found no choice but to cooperate with him.

Nítorí náà, a kò rí ibuyẹsí láti bàa ṣe

And to fulfill his oath.

Àti láti mú ìbúra rẹ̀ ṣẹ.

So we lifted him and the minds were lifted with him.

Nítorí náà, a gbé e dìde àti pé àwọn ọkàn náà dìde pẹ̀lú rẹ̀.

Tí o sì rí òmìnira kúrò nínú ẹ̀ṣẹ̀ rẹ̀.

A béèrè lọ́wọ́ rẹ̀ ìdí tí ó fi dìde.

And for what reason did he lift the goblet?
