And dispel your worries.
Àti pé ẹ̀ yọ ìbẹ̀rù yín kúrò.
As if he had come and gone.
Bí ẹni pé ó ti wá, ó sì ti lọ.
And brought you comfort.
Ó sì mú ìtùnú wá fún yín.
We greatly rejoiced at his good news.
A yọ̀ gidigidi fún ìròyìn rere rẹ̀.
And we suggested to see him.
Àti pé a pinu láti rí i.
So he entered, announcing us.
Nítorí náà, ó wọlé, ó sì kéde wa.
Then he came out, permitting us.
Lẹ́yìn náà, ó jáde, ó sì fún wa ní àṣẹ.
We met him (Abu Zayd) lying down
A rí (Abu Seidu) ní idubulẹ sùn
And a fluent tongue.
Pẹlu pe ahọ́n rẹ ń sọ̀rọ̀ dáadáa.
