الْمَقَامَةُ الْفُرَاتِيَّةُ

And the pivot of the administration.

Àárín ìṣàkóso ìjọba.

The scale of deeds.

Iwọn iṣẹ́.

And the overseer of workers.

Àti olùṣọ́ àwọn osíṣẹ́.

To him is the recourse in peace and turmoil.

Òun ni àwọn ènìyàn ń lọ́ kàn sí ní ìfẹ́ àti ìjà.

And on him depends the management of income and expenditure.

Orí rẹ ní lilọ bibọ owó tí ń wọlé àti èyí tí jáde wa.

Through him, harm and benefit are determined.

Nipà rẹ ni a fi mọ̀ èyí tí ó lè jẹ́ ewu àti anfààní.

In his hand lies the bond of giving and withholding.

Ní ọwọ́ rẹ̀ ni àsopọ fífún ní àti kikọ̀ wà.

And were it not for the pen of accountants.

Tí kálámù olùṣirò kò bá sí.

The fruits of labor would be lost.

Èso iṣẹ́ ẹni kò bá tí bàjẹ́.

And deceit would have reached the Day of Judgment.

Àti pé àtúnpín náà kì bá tí dé Ọjọ́ Ìdájọ́.
