الْمَقَامَةُ الْفُرَاتِيَّةُ

And the system of transactions would be dissolved.

Ẹ̀tò àwọn ìdunadura kò bá tí tu.

And the wounds of injustices would be unavenged.

Àti pé ọ̀gbẹ́ àbòsí kò bá má tí gbẹ̀sán.

And the neck of fairness would be chained.

Àti pé ọ̀rùn déédé kí bá tí dí mímú só.

And the sword of oppression would be drawn.

Àti pé idà ìkà yóò dí yí yọ sókè.

Although the pen of composition is imaginative.

Àmọ́ pé kálámù ìkọ̀wé ń jẹ́ aròyé.

And the pen of accounting is interpretative.

Àti pé kálámù ìṣirò ń ṣe ìtumọ̀.

The accountant scrutinizes.

Olùṣirò ń dá wọn wò ní kíkà.

The writer is a master of embellishments.

Onkọ̀wé jẹ́ Ọ̀gá ẹ̀lẹ̀tàn.

And both have their poison when they ascend.

Àti pé méjèèjì ní májèlé wọn nígbà tí wọ́n bá ń gbé ìgbésẹ̀.

Until they are met and prayed on (delivered).

Títí tí a fí pàdé wọn, tí a sì ṣe àdúà fún wọn (ìgbàlà).
